"gently nicking the spot with a scalpel, and tweezing core out"
" Hi there. Thanks for adding me to the group. My 6yo son has had MC for about 6 months and like many of you wasn’t happy with the ride it out advice. So, I have taken matters into my own hands and have been gently nicking the spot with a scalpel, and tweezing core out. I make sure to clean before and after and cover until bleeding stops. Has anyone else done this? Will it result in scarring? Every 10 I get, he gets a beyblade. Win win. How long before the body might produce immune response?"
Our amazing members came back with this awesome feedback
"My boy had it for two years . Is low immunity . We used wart cream and covered . He has small scars but not noticeable"
"Yes popping did scar my daughters legs quite badly"
"Be careful popping them before they are ready to go themselves. Look at diet and probiotics first, there are some that think reducing gluten can help. I don’t know for sure, everyone is different. Have you tried MollumClear?"
"My son had MC in the crease of his elbow for about a year. We ended up squeezing the cores out as nothing else was working. He has about 3 little scars but barely noticeable and he had about 50 spots all up in that time."
